The clients wanted to transform this unused corner of their block in to an area they could utilise for their herb gardens. SBL Landscape Construction built a deck that flowed from the rear door of their house around the corner to the side gate. Incorporated in the deck is a huge tree stump which the clients wanted to keep, it has a great story plus makes a very useful work bench. The deck was constructed using a treated pine frame with merbau decking boards. The boards weren’t treated so they would silver off and match the rest of the timber used on the building.
